Victoria's Secret: Summer Collection Spray!

So Victoria's Secret just came out with a limited edition collection for their summer body spray line! If you watch my channel (www.youtube.com/shesfreshtodeath13) you should know that my favorite scent EVER is under the Sexy Little Things line from VS. And my all time favorite spray is the Sexy Little Things "Tease". I also really enjoy the original one.

So I went shopping yesterday with my mom and we went to Victoria's Secret. I saw this collection and seriously freaked out. I bought the mini version just because I like the ones you can carry in your purse but I will definitely be getting the full size version soon.

So anyway, about the spray itself. The bottle is super cute. Pink and black. The scent... Oh my gosh you guys. It is AMAZING! Its so florally and girly and fresh and just SUMMERY! Like, it makes me so stoked for summer. I looked up the scent: mixture of pink guava, Mediterranean jasmine and musk. AKA pure amazing-ness in a bottle! 

Victoria's Secret came out with 3 other collections for the summer line as well. Bombshell Summer, Dream Angel's Heavenly Summer, Sexy Little Things Noir Summer and Very Sexy Summer. I tried them all and they seriously are the best and most perfect scents you can get for summer, EVER. I recommend them so much. Especially if you get the little mini sized bottles like I did, you can just throw it in your beach bag for the summer and jump out the door. 

As far as lasting power, I'm sure the actually perfume lasts way longer because I sprayed mine around 4:30 pm yesterday and it is currently 9:45 am the next day and the scent still stayed. Obviously, it is more faint but you can still smell it. They have the lotions and other body products to go along with it too. So next time you go to Victoria's Secret, be sure to grab one of your favorites!

Summer Nail Polish Picks!

Obviously, bold and colorful colors are the way to go for summer. This is probably a "Duh" statement, but you clearly don't want dark colors like dark purples, blacks, grays, and etc for summer. Those and great and all, but they're the way to go for winter and fall. 

Summer is your chance to shine. Go out and choose colors that stand out like bright pinks, blues, orange, yellow and things like that. Below I'll post a couple of choices that you could choose from.

With summer coming up, there will be or already are summer nail polish collections out. For example, Essie has their new "Brazilliant" summer collection out and I haven't had the chance to purchase any from it yet but I've seen the colors and they are hot! Totally PERFECT for summer. Also, I'm pretty sure Sally Hansen has some really good ones they just released for summer. 

When you look for colors, you could even possibly look for polishes with nice reflect colors inside of them because once the light reflects on them, it'll really make it shine. 

Keep in mind... ALWAYS WEAR POLISH ON YOUR TOE NAILS! Please do this. Especiallyyyy if you are going to the beach or wearing open-toed shoes or something. Please please please wear nail polish. I personally think blues look the best on toe nails. Just something about them really makes them pop! Also, if you want to add a cute little design on your ring finger, that could also be really cute.

Tinted Moisturizer or Foundation?

Sure, I am one of those girls who would prefer foundation over a tinted moisturizer in a heart beat. Why? I can give you 3 simple reasons. 1) I hate my skin. Its my worst insecurity. 2) Tinted Moisturizers=Barely any coverage. 3) I already have my holy grail foundation that I love!

Well girls, I'm here to give you a few pointers right now on why wearing a tinted moisturizer in the warmer weather is a better choice.

Wear a TINTED Moisturizer instead of a foundation! ESPECIALLY a liquid foundation. That is a big NO for summer especially. Once the weather gets warmer, if you wear a liquid foundation on your face, it will be sure to slide/sweat RIGHT off your face. It looks really bad, trust me. Even if you're extremely self concious about your skin... I know I am, but a tinted moisturize with spf and then maybe just setting it with some face powder will really feel a lot lighter/better on your face for the summer. Heck, if you think your skin is really bad, you can even add some concealer before the moisturizer. Suggestions for a tinted moisturizer: For more affordable options, Covergirl's Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer, Nivea Young Tinted Moisturizer, Neutrogena's Healthy Defense Tinted Moisturizer, and Wet N' Wild Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer are wonderful picks! The first two even offer SPF. If you're willing to spend a little bit more, I've heard the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is a good one. I'm sure if you go to Sephora or something, they can recommend a good one in your budget.

Tinted Moisturizer is the way to go! :)

My Real Introduction

Hi! My name is Dina. Pronounced like (Dee-Nuh) I'm 17 years old. I think I have a very bubbly, outgoing personality. I'm not shy at all. I love to laugh. I also love to eat. I really enjoy french fries. They're the best :] Music is my favorite thing in the world. I don't know where I would be without it. Concerts are my escape. I go to them, a lot. I work at a daycare and I can truly say that these past few months with working with all of these children has made such an impact on my life. I'm a really caring person and I try to be nice to everybody. I have a super sarcastic and some even say, "sassy" attitude. But anyway, now let me get on to the reason most of you are even looking at this blog...
Beauty! Ever since I was a little girl I always loved playing with make up. I always had the little sets that I got for Birthdays, Holidays, Etc... I remember always stealing lipsticks from my mom and putting them into my purple sequin purse. But on a serious note, I got into experimenting with make up probably a little over a year ago. I am 100% ADDICTED to watching beauty videos, shopping for make up ALL the time and just trying out different looks on myself over the weekend.
After a few months of watching some of my favorite gurus, I contemplated forever on starting my own channel. I guess I was sort of... self concious? I'm never one to care about what people think about me, but I just knew this would be a commitment. Finally, in December I decided to make a beauty channel. My name is "shesfreshtodeath13" and it comes from one of my favorite songs, from one of my favorite bands... The Maine :) The 13 is inspired by Taylor Swift because she is my idol and I absolutely adore her. Moving on, I started my channel in hopes of some girls looking through youtube, searching for a review or even just an everyday look tutorial and coming across my channel. Most importantly, someone to learn something.
I don't think I know everything there is to learn about make up. Because honestly, I'm still learning every single day. But I hope out of everything I share with you girls, you will learn at least one thing. It makes me so happy when girls tell me they loved my new video or something because I know I put time and effort into my videos and when somebody appreciates them and even takes time out of their day to watch them, it means the whole world to me.
This blog will be dedicated to just posting my videos on here and maybe posting some different reviews, tips and tricks that I wouldn't want to make a video about. So if you're reading this... Hi, I love you :]
So I think of this as a journey. A journey to learning more about beauty as I go on through life. And hopefully helping some girls out in their journey. I hope you guys enjoy this. (As if anyone just read all of this... Ha!)

Hey there, Blogspot!

I'm gonna go ahead and dedicate my first post to my favorite teacher, Ms. Burrows! I got so lucky to be in her Spanish III class this year and I seriously adore her. She's such a free spirit and always cracks me up. Anyway, she basically gave me the idea for starting a beauty blog because she knows about my youtube channel. (www.youtube.com/shesfreshtodeath13) So I decided to take her advice and I guess from now on, we'll see where this goes.
If you start following me, I really hope you enjoy my posts or at least find them helpful.
